Whatever You Did for One of the Least of These Brothers and Sisters of Mine, You Did for Me
HCRN serves nationally in all phases of disasters and we are always looking to network with those who are willing to serve after disaster strikes. Now you are able to connect with 89,500 other volunteers nationwide. We will stay in touch with you over time and when we need volunteers with your skills, we will reach out to you.
Please fill out our form below and our Volunteer Coordinator will add you to our Volunteer Network. Please know that we do not share any information with any third party (including other volunteer organizations) without your permission.
If you have any additional skill or resources that can benefit communities affected by disaster please note them in the “Other” field. A few examples would be: you own a tree trimming company and are willing to bring in your equipment, you have extensive Amateur Radio equipment that could be quickly set up like temporary repeaters, you own a construction company and have large commercial equipment you are willing to bring in, or even if you are a license mental health counselor.
Hope City is a collaboration of local faith-based organizations and corporate partners who have come together to help rebuild homes and restore lives. Hope City has committed 3-5 years to help rebuild homes at an estimated cost of $5-6 million dollars. All homes are built free of cost and without discrimination to the homeowner. Families contribute funds designated to the project and agree to participate in our extensive case management.
With no administration fees and a strong core team, our donors and volunteers see the biggest return from their small investment of their time or finances. It is our prayer that you and your team not only see how you can help in the recovery efforts of the Valley Fire, but also how you can renew yourself spiritually.
