A fire in Butte County of Northern California has consumed about 70,000 acres in the span of 24 hours. The fire is moving quickly and at the time of this writing is 5% contained. Current numbers coming from the sheriff’s department list 5 lives lost in the town of Paradise, which has experienced destruction on a large scale.

HCRN is responding to what is being called at this time the Camp Fire. It is the 15th fire we have responded to in 3 years of operations in Northern California.
