Disaster Resource Village?
A mobile resilience center designed to bring together advanced information technology, physical infrastructure, decades of recovery experience and logistical expertise.
Disaster response can and should be better for survivors, for communities and for the organizations serving them.
Mobile Resilience
When disaster strikes, we bring resources to YOU. Your community deserves help, and the Disaster Resource Village makes sure you get it.
Infrastructure
The Disaster Resource Village deploys a mobile Command Center outfitted with technology and support equipment to make sure our partners have everything they need to serve disaster survivors.
Single Registration
You fill out ONE registration and access resources from all participating partners. You don’t need to tell your story over and over again. One and Done to get you on the way to recovery.
Response to Recovery
Advanced information technology means your community sees more information regarding recovery needs SOONER. Using our data, local recovery efforts can begin in earnest up to 8 months before a traditional recovery.
Hope City for Kids
HCRN is teaming up with the family of Charles M. Schulz to bring Take Care with Peanuts to the disaster response world. The world famous Peanuts characters are here to help your children work through their emotions and teach them how to prepare for disaster.
Multi-Lingual Services
You need to know what’s being said to you. If you can’t understand us, you can’t get the help you deserve. The Disaster Resource Village partners with translators in your community to serve you how you need to be served.
